Eligibility:  Outstanding Creative Writing or Drama student, planning to continue to pursue either one in college.  Minimum GPA=2.5

Scholarship Description:  Established in 2025 by dedicated SOTA creative writing teacher and drama director, Marcy Gamzon, the $1,000 scholarship will be awarded each year through 2034 to an outstanding Creative Writing or Drama student. Students are required to declare a college major related to writing or drama and/or should aspire to pursue a career in writing, journalism, comparative literature, acting or a related field.

• Attach a personal statement about your future educational and career goals and how your SOTA Creative Writing or Drama experience will assist you in pursuing such goals.
